The nose is fruity, aromatic, beautifully powerful and offers gourmandise, concentration as well as a slight intensity. It reveals notes of crème de cassis, blackberry and slight / discreet notes of strawberry associated with slight touches of mocha, spices as well as a subtle / discreet hint of tobacco and cinnamon. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a slight acid frame, a good definition, gourmandise, a slight richness, a beautiful tension, a slight juiciness, a slight minerality (in the background), finesse as well as a slight straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, crème de cassis and a hint of violet combined with subtle touches of crushed redcurrant / crushed raspberry, discreet touches of liquorice, chocolate as well as slight toasted touches and a very discreet / imperceptible hint of caramelized oak Tannins are well-built. Good length.
