The nose is elegant, fine and slightly aromatic. It reveals notes of cherry and crushed raspberry associated with slight notes of redcurrant, cassis as well as slight touches of caramelized oak and Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, a bit aerial and offers a beautiful mineral frame, a beautiful definition, gourmandise, straightness as well as a slight freshness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe/crushed redcurrant, cherry and small notes of raspberry associated with touches of crushed cassis, violet, licorice as well as a subtle hint of caramelized oak and an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper (in the bachground). Tannins are well-built. Good length.
