Mas des Quernes – Les Petits Travers 2019 – Hérault IGP

The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers a good definition as well as a certain deepness. It reveals notes of bgarreau cherry, fleshy/juicy violet plum, small notes of Boysen berry associated with touches of small crushed red berries as well as hints of liquorice stick and very fine hints of sense of the place (terroir/biotope). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers gourmandize, a certain aromatic purity, a small fat, suavity as well as a fine juiciness and an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy bigarreau cherry, juicy blueberry, small notes of small bright red fruits associated with small touches of lily, lilac as well as hints of tonka bean, toasted, a racy minerality, a subtle hint of sense of the place and an imperceptible hint of black tea. Tannins are precise and finely powdered.
