The nose is elegant, aromatic, fruity and offers a beautiful definition, intensity, a certain purity of the fruit and a small power. It reveals notes of bright cassis, small blue berries, small notes of raspberry associated with touches of bright blue plum, lilac, pink laurel, sense of the place (local biotope) as well as fine hints of liquorice stick fresh/juicy violet fig, plum flowers as well as discreet hints of spices. The palate is elegant, aromatic, gourmand and offers freshness, a melodious side, a beautiful juiciness/freshness as well as finesse, fat and a certain well-controlled richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright blueberry, bright raspberry, small notes of fleshy strawberry associated with a touch of acidulous cassis candy, violet as well as hints of pink laurel, sense of the place, plum flowers, liquorice stick, a subtle hint of tobacco, black olive, a racy minerality and an imperceptible hint of clove (in the background). Good length. A beautiful gourmand, sapid and appetent persistence. Tannins are well-built, supple and elegant.
