Martha’s – Colheita 2006 – Single Harvest – Tawny – Porto

The nose is fruity, relatively rich and powerful. It reveals notes of dried fruits (walnuts, dried almond) associated with slight notes of honey, candied citrus, a touch of quince as well as a discreet touch of apricot, caramel and discreet notes peach skin (after oxygenation). The palate is fruity, smooth, fat, relatively rich and offers small freshness as well as a silky matter. In the mouth this Porto expresses notes of dried fig, honey and slight notes of dried fruit associated with a touch of date, candied citrus, candied mandarin, as well as slight notes of hazelnut, walnut, caramel and coffee. Good length and persistence.
