It reveals notes of cassis and fresh red fruits (raspberry …) associated with slight touches of ripe bell pepper, discreet touches of spices, subtle hints of Zan as well as a subtle hint of tobacco, spices, violet and a discreet / imperceptible hint of forest soil. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly grainy and offers juiciness, a very beautiful freshness, a very beautiful juiciness, a bit tight structure as well as a slight acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, fresh raspberry and discreet touches of cassis associated with slight touches of dark chocolate, subtle toasted touch, tobacco as well as an imperceptible touch of tonka bean (in background) and tarweed. Tannins are very slightly grainy. There are a very discreet hint caramelization and a very discreet hint of hazelnut on the persistence.
