Maria Mora – Reserva 2015 – Vinho Regional Alentejano

The nose is aromatic and offers a certain mastered power, concentration, elegance as well as a certain richness. There are notes of pulpy blackberry, wild strawberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of crushed raspberry, fresh/ripe red berries, hints of caramelization, toasted, hazelnut as well as a subtle hint of cardamom, a very discreet hint of local grove, eucalyptus and an imperceptible hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers precision, fat, roundness, a certain richness, a fine unctuosity, a fine straightness as well as freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, crushed raspberry and small notes of pulpy redcurrants associated with small touches of violet, cherry, cherry pit, lily, hints of caramelization, vanilla, toasted as well as has a subtle hint of hazelnut, sweet blond tobacco, an imperceptible hint of eucalyptus and an imperceptible hint almost black olive. Tannins are slightly mellow. Good length.
