Deep, shiny colour, with hints of ruby, garnet and brick. Intense nose, expressing great freshness and concentration. Notes of cedar, toasted hazelnuts, coffee, fresh blackcurrants and raspberries. Aeration is necessary to bring out the fresh spicy notes that make the wine even more complex. The palate is delicate but also very concentrated. The oak imprint in this wine is significant and of high quality. The fruit is fleshy and dense on the mid-palate, before the fine, fresh tannins take over. The finish is beautifully fresh. An elegant wine with great potential for ageing.
