The nose is fruity and finely concentrated / intense. It reveals notes of blackberry, small berries, cassis cream and fine hints of red fruit combined with notes of spices, a touch of lavender and a small touch of Sichuan and a discreet hint of black olive. The palate is fruity, mineral, racy, supple and offers a fine acid frame, freshness, relatively depth, a nice volume, fat as well as a good definition. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry jam, plum and slight notes of cassis associated with hints of small red berries, wood, mocha as well as a discreet hint of truffle, olive and a very discreet hint of tobacco. Tannins are fine and a bit dry. Good length.
