Gewürztraminer is quite unusual for the production of icewine, but it makes sense as it is a great varietal for sweet wine production. Malivore has done a great job of getting the right sweetness along with honey, peach, ginger and candied lemon peel. It’s rich and intensely aromatic with a bright and lively palate. Nothing in excess, not a hint of heaviness, but instead an firm balancing acidity.
