The nose is fruity and offers a certain concentration as well as a small power. It reveals notes of crème de cassis, ripe blueberry and small notes of crushed raspberry associated with small touches of sour cherry, cherry blossoms, cardamom, chocolate as well as discreet hints of garrigue and a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, tense, racy and offers a beautiful acidulous frame, a good definition, a certain controlled richness, freshness as well as silkiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / crushed sour cherry, fleshy / juicy wild cassis and small notes of black berries associated with touches of crushed redcurrants, violets, thyme flowers, rosemary as well as fine hints of chocolate, toasted hazelnut and a discreet hint of sweet spices. Good length.
