Maison Roy & Fils – Incline 2016 – Dundee Hills, Willamette Valley

The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a fine richness, a fine grain and a fine deepness. It reveals notes of red cherry, cherry core and small notes of small plum associated with fine touches of blackberry as well as hints of raspberry, liquorice stick and fine hints of caramelization. The mouth offers a good suavity, juiciness, a fine acidulous frame as well as a fine tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of red cherry, ripe blackcurrant and small notes of small juicy/acidulous plum associated with fine touches of violet, cornflower as well as fine hints of caramelization, chocolate and mild tobacco. Tannins are elegant. Good length.
