The nose is aromatic and offers concentration, a certain intensity as well as elegance. It reveals notes of bright Boysenberry, bright blue plum and small notes of juicy / fresh strawberry associated with touches of violet, lilac, Cuben pepper as well as fine hints of nutmeg and a very discreet hint of clove. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, freshness, a small fat, gourmandise, roundness, suavity, a beautiful silky touch, a very discreetly tight grain as well as straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of acidulous / juicy blue plum, juicy / ripe cherry and small notes of violet associated with touches of small red berries, crunchy / juicy strawberry as well as hints of lilac, rose, discreet hints of local grove, vanilla and a subtle toasted hint. Tannins are precise and finely mellow. Good length. Presence of a very discreet hint of toasted hazelnut on the finish / persistence.
