Maison Champy 2015 – Savigny-Les-Beaune

Maison Champy 2015 – Savigny-Les-Beaune

The nose is powerful and fruity. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of cassis, ripe strawberry and ripe redcurrant associated with touches of flowers, Cuben pepper, spices, toasted touches and a discreet nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers fleshy, tension, greed and a fine acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy wild raspberry, ripe redcurrant and small notes of strawberry combined with a subtle hint of plum as well as discreet toasted hints, spices and an imperceptible touch of blond tobacco. Tannins are well-built. The finish is discreetly tight. Good length.
