Maison Cassagne et Vitailles – « Les Chausmes » 2021 – Montpeyroux, Languedoc

Beautiful, elegant, racy, concentrated and fresh nose as well as beautifuly peppery. There are notes of fresh bigarreau cherry white pepper and small notes of violet associated with touches of purple fruits as well as a discreet hint of Madagascar pepper and fresh tabacco.  The mouth is fruity and offers freshness, tension, a linear side (in a positive way), stretched, full of precision / control as well as a sens of details.  In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy/ pulpy cherry, fresh raspberry and small notes of fresh white pepper associated with touches of bright berries, bright purple plum as well as discreet hints of Madagascar pepper, smoke and a subtle hint of sage. Beautiful guideline. Good length. Beautiful persistence and chew with a subtle hint of black pepper that arrives on the aftertaste. Sapid finish and a discreet almost infusion hint in the background. Congratulations !
