Maison Cassagne et Vitailles – « Combarels » 2021…Ombre – Terrasses du Larzac

The nose is fruity, beautifuly fresh, melodious and offers deepness and complexity. All in delicacy. There are notes of pulpy blackberry, pulpy strawberry and small notes of ripe/ fresh cherry associated with touches with fresh liquorice stick, cranberry and slight hints of fresh sage. The mouth is fruity and offers a beautiful freshness, minerality, tension, precision, an acidulous frame and a good definition. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy cherry, bright wild strawberry and small notes of bright/ acidulous blackberry associated with touches of sage, fresh local scrubland as well as discreet hints of violet, cherry blossom, almost cranberry hint and a discreet hint of zan. Good length. Chewy and sapid tannins. Beautiful good bitterness on the finish/ persistence.
