Magali Bernard – Clos du Roi – Cuvée Charly 2016 Nos Origines – Bourgogne Coulanges La Vineuse

The nose is fruity, finely gourmand and offers a fine richness. It reveals notes of quince, ripe apple and ripe brugnon associated with a touch of fresh citrus, lemon flowers as well as subtle points of calcareous minerality and an imperceptible touch of gray pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well built and offers a beautiful frame juicy / acid frame, a good definition, finesse, gourmandise, roundness, a nice definition, a small unctuosity, a certain delicacy and a nice straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon, ripe mandarin and apple skin associated with touches of crunchy mirabelle plum, flowers as well as subtle hints of vanilla, limestone / iodine and brioche. Good persistence. A beautiful wine!
