Lukas Markowitsch 2015 Kabinett – Carnuntum

Lukas Markowitsch 2015 Kabinett – Carnuntum

The nose is fruity and offers elegance, density but and in finesse and with a fine grain. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe blackberry and small notes of fleshy wild strawberry associated with fine touches of small blue fruits, zan, sweet spices as well as fine hints of racy minerality, tonka bean and a very discreet toasted hint. The palate is fruity, juicy, mineral, well-balanced and offers freshness, a beautiful definition, elegance as well as gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, fleshy/juicy blackberry and small notes of raspberry/cherry associated with fine touches of plum, violet as well as very fine hints of tonka bean/cocoa, toasted, sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of caramelization (in the background). Good length. Tannins are well-built, precise and slightly firm.
