Lucien Muzard & Fils – Champs Claude 2016 – Santenay

The nose is fruity and offers a slight gourmandise and a small fat. It reveals notes of flat peach, apple and slight notes of exotic fruits combined with discreet touches of quince as well as slight touches of quenette and a very discreet hint of beeswax. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, fresh, straight and offers a beautiful fresh / mineral frame, fat, purity, a good definition as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe flat peach, apple and slight notes of pear associated with a touch of passion fruit, quince as well as a discreet touch of zest, quenette and an imperceptible toasted touch / vanilla touch (in the background).
