Lua Cheia – Em Vinhas Velhas 2018 – Douro

The nose offers power as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of cassis, plum and small notes of crushed raspberry associated with touches of black pepper, fine touches of local grove as well as a subtle hint of violet and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a fine acidulous frame, tension as well as dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of acidulous redcurrants, acidulous plum and small notes of juicy Boysenberry combined with fine touches of olive tree, local grove as well as a subtle hint of small berries, spices and a very discreet hint of liquorice.
