The nose is fine, rich/full, elegant, gourmand and offers a slight straightness. It reveals notes of jam, white fruits in syrup (brugnon, apple) and touches of candied lemon associated with a hint of dried mandarin zests, a subtle hint of quenette, flowers (orange blossom, lemon tree flowers), hints of rancio, grilled oak as well as a subtle hint of caramel, pepper and an imperceptible hint of coffee (in the background). The palate is fruity, round, delicate, elegant, quite fine and offers a slight straightness. In the mouth this Cognac expresses notes of candied lemon, crystallized mandarin and slight notes of jam, dried citrus zests associated with hints of quenette, peach compote as well as hints of rancio, cigare/tobacco, pepper, grilled oak and cacao. Good length and persistence. There is a gourmandise and a suavity on the persistence.
