Loudenne Le Château 2021 – Médoc

The nose is fruity and reveals fleshiness, some richness of fruit, concentration and intensity. There are notes of boysenberry, bigarreau cherry and more lightly crushed red berries combined with delicate touches of camphor, black liquorice, blueberry and a fine touch of black tea. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, sweetness, acidity, tension, some concentration, accuracy, energy, roundness, pulpiness and a fine airiness. On the palate this wine expresses bright bigarreau cherry, strawberry and slightly crushed/chunky redcurrant notes combined with hints of pulpy/chunky red berries as well as hints of blueberry, zan, bergamot and discreet vanilla. Good length.
