The nose is fruity and reveals a certain gourmandize, good definition and fine power. We find notes of pulpy/ripe raspberry, violet and more slightly crushed blackcurrant as well as fine points of star anise and a discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity and offers a nice fresh/mineral structure, good definition, tension, suppleness, positive bitterness, minerality and fine salinity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy raspberry, strawberry and, more slightly, pulpy/crushed blackcurrant combined with delicate touches of violet as well as fine points of nutmeg, liquorice and a discreet hint of toastiness. The tannins are sapid.
