The nose is fruity and reveals some racy power. There are notes of fleshy strawberry, pulpy cherry and slightly crushed blackcurrant combined with hints of fresh violet, racy minerality as well as hints of liquorice and a subtle touch of sweet tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, some freshness, a fine concentration and juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/fresh blackberry, raspberry and slightly pulpy cherry notes combined with hints of fresh violet, lily and fine iodine/saline minerality and a subtle hint of fresh liquorice. Freshness, good definition, deliciousness and sapidity on the finish. The tannins are supple.
