L’Extravagant de Doisy-Daëne 2017 – Sauternes

The nose is juicy, gourmand and offers richness, freshness, a beautiful dynamism as well as a fine unctuosity. It reveals notes of candied lemon, pear in syrup and candied pineapple associated with hints of honey, dry white grapes, fine touches of yellow fruit as well as a hint of fresh flowers (in the background), almond and a very discreet hint of gingerbread. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, gourmande, elegant, round, juicy and offers a beautiful freshness, a beautiful acid frame, tension, a good balance, richness, a beautiful definition as well as unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of candied lemon, candied apple and small notes of peach in syrup, roasted pineapple, candied pear associated with small touches of honey, candied kumquat, dried apricot as well as fine touches of spices. Good length and beautiful aromatic persistence. There is a hint of hazelnut on the persistence.
