L’extravagant de Doisy-Daëne 2016 – Barsac

The nose is elegant, racy, beautifully built and offers a carved side and deepness. It reveals notes of peach flower, verbena, lychee, small notes of kumquat associated with touches of zests, a discreet hint of fresh pineapple, almond, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine acidulous frame, juiciness, a beautiful definition as well as precision, tension and suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of lemon, zests, small notes of verbena, lemon flowers associated with fine touches of lime, crunchy peach as well as very fine hints of lychee, a subtle hint of roasted pineapple, almond and a very discreet hint of spices. Good length.
