L’extravagant de Doisy-Daëne 2010 – Barsac

The nose is aromatic, elegant and offers deepness as well as complexity. It reveals notes of dry mandarine, lychee, candied lychee, small notes of candied lemon associated with small touches of cooked peach as well as very discreet hints of almond, small dry fruits as well as an imperceptible hint of honey. The palate is fruity, very discreetly tight and offers a small unctuosity, gourmandize, suavity, a fine acidulous frame as well as a beautiful precision and a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy vine peach, crushed peach, candied kumquat, small notes of crystallized lemon associated with fine touches of zests/caviar lemon as well as fine hints of almond, toasted, vanilla and a very discreet hint of brioche. Good length and persistence.
