The nose is powerful, elegant, gourmand and offers concentration and minerality. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and ripe black fruits associated with fine touches of red fruit, strawberry, roasting, spices, a fine hint of black pepper as well as fine touches of cardamom, spices and wood. The palate is fruity, mineral, racy, powerful, relatively depth and offers a beautiful structure, a fine acidity, a nice juiciness of the fruit, a beautiful harmony, fat, suavity as well as concentration and an acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, small black berries jelly and cassis combined with slight notes of raspberry, chocolate, roasted oak as well as slight touches of liquorice and dark chocolate (in the background). Tannins are fine and very slightly firm. Good length.
