The nose is aromatic, elegant, racy and offers complexity, a beautiful density, finesse, a slight concentration, freshness as well as depthness. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of blackberry and cassis combined with slight notes of crushed wild strawberry, dark chocolate, tobacco, slight touches of nutmeg as well as a very discreet hint of cornflower, gray pepper, dried / crushed almond and an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant, racy and offers a beautiful mineral frame, gourmandise, a slight juiciness, a beautiful freshness, a slight tension as well as a beautiful matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis, juicy raspberry and small notes of fleshy wild strawberry associated with slight notes of fleshy / juicy red berries, blueberry, subtle touches of cornflower, tobacco as well as a discreet hint of rock / terroir, soil, subtle hints of toasted oak and slight hints of dark chocolate. Tannins are fine and a bit firm. Beautiful length and very beautiful persistence. Beautiful potential! (Barrel tasting)
