Les Vins Parcé Frères 1988 – Rivesaltes

Les Vins Parcé Frères 1988 – Rivesaltes

(Bottled: 07/2017) The nose is fruity, gourmand, elegant, fine and offers freshness. It reveals notes of redcurrants, caramelization and caramelized orange combined with subtle hints of caramel pear, crystallized lemon as well as touches of nougatine, blond tobacco, sweet spices and very discreet hint of sandalwood. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, beautifully gourmande and offers a beautiful finesse, a beautiful straightness, a fine tension, fat as well as roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of redcurrants, caramelized orange and small notes of caramelized mandarin, dried yellow grapes, nougatine, pâtisseries associated with subtle hints of almond, rancio, toasted oak as well as discreet touches of blond tobacco and an imperceptible hint of crystallized lemon (in the background). Good length and beautiful persistence. There is a hint of nuts (hazelnut …) on the aftertaste..
