Les Vins du Penlois 2015 – Brouilly

The nose reveals notes of crushed blackberry, cassis jam and slight notes of strawberry associated with a hint of redcurrant, cacao, a woody hint as well as very slight hints of spices (nutmeg, clove). The palate is fruity, fine, sleek, fat and offers a slight gourmandize as well as an acid frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed strawberry, cassis and slight notes of plum associated with a woody hint, a hint of redcurrant, liquorice as well as discreet notes of spices and clove. Good length.
