The wine has a deep ruby color. The nose is warm and offers concentration and a fleshy fruitiness. It expresses notes of blackcurrant, morello cherry, wild strawberry, raspberry coulis, associated with notes of smoke, dried herbs (mint, rosemary), flowers (cornflower, wild flowers) as well as a touch of smoke, vanilla and minerality (rock, bass). On the palate, the wine offers a juicy and fruity attack, as well as firm tannins, drying on the finish. It expresses notes of tangy black fruits (blackcurrant, blueberry, morello cherry), wild strawberry, bigarreau cherry, as well as mint and dried thyme, combined with smoky and slightly peppery notes. A good level of acidity softens a dry finish, with a slight bitterness.
