Les Tourelles de Longueville 2017 – Pauillac

The nose is fresh, fruity and offers a fine concentration as well as a good structure. It reveals notes of cassis, liquorice stick and red berries associated with fine touches of blackberry, crushed strawberry, dark chocolate as well as a very discreet hint of flowers (in the background). The palate is fresh, fruity and offers a beautiful juiciness, a good suavity, fat, a good structure, a good definition as well as a very fine unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy blackberry and more slightly fleshy raspberry associated with a discreet hint of blueberry, liquorice, toasted oak as well as a very discreet hint of tonka bean, tea and sweet spices/caramelization. Tannins are fine and supple. There is a hint of cocoa bitter and a discreet hint of caramelized almond on the persistence/almond.
