Les Tourelles de Caillou 2015 – Sauternes

The nose is fruity. It reveals notes of crystallized lemon, candied apple and slight touches of pear in syrup associated with a discreet hint of candied orange (in the background) as well as a very discreet hint of botrytis (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, mineral and offers a nice freshness as well as an acid frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crystallized lemon, ripe flat peach and pear in syrup associated with a discreet hint of crunchy pineapple as well as an imperceptible hint of mandarin and a very discreet hint of botrytis/honey. Good length.
