The nose is fruity, gourmand, well-built, aromatic and offers a small power as well as an aromatic purity, precision, a beautiful well-defined fruit, a fine acidulous frame, a fine grain and harmony. It reveals notes of blackberry, black plum, small notes of small wild red berries associated with touches of crunchy wild raspberry as well as small touches of cherry blossom, plum flowers, sense of the place and discreet hints of grey pepper. The palate is elegant, gourmand, suave, beautifully defined and offers a fine acidulous frame, a fine grain and harmony. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright black cherry, bright plum, small notes of crushed redcurrant associated with touches of pulpy strawberry as well as hints of lily, plum flowers, nutmeg, fine hints of vanilla flowers, sugared mild tobacco, very discreet hints of sense of the place (local biotope) and grey pepper. Tannins are structuring, finely chewy and gourmand. Good length. A discreet hint of mocha, incense, roasted and hazelnut/toasted almond on the persistence.
