The nose is elegant, harmonious, fine and offers delicacy, a fine power (but full of control), an aromatic purity, a beautiful definition as well as a very fine richness and a beautiful grain. It reveals notes of bright cherry, bright quitch plum, small notes of bright strawberry associated with small touches of fresh violet, cherry blossom as well as hints of pulpy cassis, pulpy redcurrant as well as very discreet hints of liquorice, a racy minerality and an imperceptible hint of rose wood. The palate is elegant, delicate, beautifully fresh, harmonious and offers a small richness, a fine fat (but full of control, not heaviness), gourmandize, a beautiful aromatic purity, a melodious side as well as a beautiful freshness of the frame (just like a red line leading the tasting), a beautiful definition and a beautiful purity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cherry, juicy blackberry, small notes of plum associated with small touches of violet, juicy blueberry, bright/fresh strawberry as well as a subtle hint of cherry blossom, redcurrant, discreet hints of liquorice stick, tonka bean, mild tobacco and fresh vanilla. Tannins are precise and well-built. A very discreet hint of toasted hazelnut, dry almond, tonka bean on the finish/persistence (bring appetence). Good length.
