Les Hauts de Smith 2018 – Pessac-Léognan

The nose is racy and offers power, a beautiful finesse of the grain, a beautiful freshness as well as minerality. It offers notes of ripe lemon, juicy yellow peach and small notes of fresh tangerine associated with fine touches of zest. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful gourmandise, a good finesse of the grain, a good definition, juiciness, aromatic purity, freshness as well as a slightly acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy ripe lemon, fleshy / juicy vine peach and small notes of crushed apple associated with fine touches of yellow fruits, flowers and racy minerality. There is an imperceptible hint of vanilla on the persistence.
