The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced, slightly powerful and offers a slight gourmandise, a slight fleshy, an acid frame, straightness, a slight deepness as well as an acid frame and juiciness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh/fleshy boysenberry, plum and slight notes of fresh raspberry associated with a hint of redcurrant, toasted oak, cacao, a subtle grilled hint as well as a hint of cardamom and Ceylan tea. Tannins are fine, racy and structuring. Good length. Good persistence on a subtle hint of caramelization/vanilla.
