The nose offers power, a fine intensity as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of crunchy cassis, small red berries and small varietal notes associated with fine touches of black pepper as well as discreet hints of iris, racy minerality (Graves) and chocolate (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, suavity, precision, an acid frame, tension, precision as well as a fine linear side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / ripe cassis, juicy / ripe cassis and small notes of wild red berries associated with fine touches of iris / cornflower, licorice as well as slight toasted hints. Tannins are well-built.
