The nose is aromatic and well-built. It reveals notes of wild flowers/violet, blackberry, wild cassis and more slightly blueberry associated with fine touches of wild strawberry as well as hints of Sichuan pepper and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, juicy, straight, racy, well-built, precise and offers fat, a good structure, freshness as well as a fine acid frame and a good grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes o juicy/ripe cassis, juicy blackberry and more slightly wild red berries, wild strawberry associated with touches of crushed/juicy raspberry, fine touches of dark chocolate, Ceylan tea and subtle touches of spices on the finish. Tannins are well-built. There is a subtle hint of bitterness/cocoa on the finish/persistence.
