It expresses notes of violet, fresh blackberry and small berries combined with small touches of pepper and a fine hint of incense and sweet spices. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, freshness, tension, a certain juiciness and a certain roundness. It expresses notes of juicy/pulp blackberry, juicy/bright cherry and more slightly – juicy/bright raspberry, associated with touches of star anise as well as hints of fresh blond tobacco, cardamom and a fine hint of good bitterness/varietal. The tannins are supple and fresh.
