L’Enchanteur de Vray Croix de Gay 2014 – Pomerol

The nose reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and slight notes of wood, spices associated with a discreet hint of Sichuan pepper, a hint of toasted oak as well as a discreet touch of blond tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a small racy minerality as well as juiciness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of blackberry, fleshy black cherry and slight notes of red fruits combined with hints of liquorice and notes of toasted wood. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length. The persistence is suave and offers a discreet hint of caramelization.
