Lemberg – Spencer 2013 – Tulbagh

(Pinotage) The nose is fruity, elegant, fine and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry jam, cassis and fine notes of Quetsche plums associated with touches of chocolate, sour cherry as well as a hint of rosemary and discreet earthy notes. The palate is fruity, gourmand, elegant, racy, voluminous, relatively fat and offers a nice silky matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, crunchy strawberry, raspberry, cherry, fine notes of redcurrant and licorice associated with slight touches of toasted oak, vanilla, sweet spices as well as a discreet hint of caramelization and Bourbon vanilla. A nice and gourmand wine!
