Lemberg – Nelson 2013 – Tulbagh

(97% Syrah, 3% Carignan) The nose is fruity, gourmand, elegant and concentrated. It reveals notes of iris, violet and cassis combined with notes of blackberry, redcurrant and a hint of liquorice. The palate is fruity, gourmand, suave, relatively elegant, relatively fat and offers a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, blackberry and rose combined with slight notes of red fruit (strawberry, redcurrant), licorice, black olive and rosemary / scrubland. Tannins are fine and well done. Good length.
