The wine needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of small wild berries, cassis and small notes of lilac / iris associated with fine touches of ripe red berries, morello cherry associated with hints of local grove / sense of place as well as very discreet hints of gray pepper, roasted and a subtle hint of licorice stick. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral / slightly acidulous frame, a small juiciness, a fine straightness, a fine freshness as well as a certain tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of morello cherry, ripe / juicy cassis and small notes of violet associated with fine touches of iris / small flowers, mocha hints, caramelization as well as discreet hints of dried black olive, cherry pit and sense of place. Presence of a very discreet hint of toast, bitterness and toasted cocoa / hazelnut on the persistence.
