The nose is fruity and offers a beautiful finesse of the grain, a fine structure and concentration. It reveals notes of black cherry, ripe/fleshy cassis and small notes of blackberry associated with fine touches of strawberry, hints of liquorice stic as well as a very discreet hint of nutmeg and Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well balanced and offers suavity, a juicy/mineral frame, silkiness as well as a fine and slightly tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, cassis and small notes of blackberry associated with small touches of wild red berries, crunchy wild strawberry as well as discreet hints of flowers and a subtle hint of liquorice stick/spices. Tannins are fine.
