A lovely, aromatic nose offering an austere side in elegance, freshness, a floral and iodized side. There are notes of violet, cornflower, cocoa nibs, wild blackberry and small notes of ripe strawberry, associated with hints of small wild red fruits, as well as fine hints of saffron (on the floral side), fine hints of infusion, bergamot and a discreet hint of toasted hazelnut. The palate is well-built, fruity, elegant, delicate, silky, fresh, crystalline, elegant and offers an elegant darkness, a fine austerity, a crystalline side, as well as a fleshy, discreetly tight substance. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, tangy/juicy violet plum and small notes of crushed raspberry, combined with touches of small brilliant fruits, lilac, cornflower, as well as fine hints of racy/terroir minerality, iodine, a subtle hint of eucalyptus, dark chocolate and Bourbon vanilla. The tannins are mellow, even finely unctuous. Gourmandise.
