The nose is fruity and offers intensity as well as concentration. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, juicy/fresh cassis and small notes of ripe strawberry associated with fine touches of flowers, fresh/juicy small red berries as well as very discreet hints of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, an acidulous frame, minerality, gourmandize, tension, a good freshness as well as a beautiful fresh and juicy fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/crunchy blackberry, crunchy/juicy strawberry and small notes of fresh/juicy small red berries associated with fine hints of violet, cornfloer, liquorice, very fine hints of toasted almond (in the background) as well as discreet hints of toasted and tonka bean. Tannins are elegant. Good persistence. A very fine firmness (in the background) on the finish. Gourmandize, an almost saline sensation and sapidity on the finish.
