Le Menut des Jacobins 2017 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose offers a small power. This wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and small notes of spices associated with fine touches of green pepper and coffee. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, a fleshy/juicy/finely acidulous fruit as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, Boysen berry and small notes of strawberry associated with fine touches of small berries, violet, cardamom, green pepper as well as hints of varietals and fine toasted hints. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
