Le Lion de La Fleur de Boüard 2021 – Lalande de Pomerol

The nose reveals some and intensity. We find notes of pulpy blackberry, fresh violet and more slightly lily combined with delicate nuances of rose petal, fresh and even crunchy red fruit as well as hints of liquorice and vanilla. The palate shows juiciness, roundness, a fine unctuousness, a little crunch as well as a delicate floral character. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, crunchy red berries and, more slightly, juicy/fresh raspberry, combined with hints of iris, lily and fine points of mulberry leaf, blond tobacco and a subtle hint of cardamom. Good length.
